Se ha celebrado la Feria Gastronómica de Miches, organizada por la Alcaldía de Miches, apoyada por el proyecto El Seibo Resiliente.
Después de dos años de pandemia, para el municipio este es un momento de mucha importancia porque genera espacios de socialización para las familias y oportunidades para la comercialización de la producción local.
Durante tres días la población accederá a la producción local agrícola y ganadera de las comunidades, se promoverá la producción de “Mi primera Miel”, un emprendimiento de la comunidad Arroyo Santiago, se consumirá comida tradicional elaborada por emprendimientos de mujeres organizadas de Miches y se disfrutará de una serie de actividades para las familias.
En esta feria, como ha sido promovida por el Ayuntamiento Municipal, se disfrutará de “una convivencia sana en el parque municipal”.
El producto “Mi primera Miel
” es el resultado de una medida de adaptación basada en ecosistemas, que contribuye a:

La conservación de la biodiversidad
– 
La diversificación de productos y medios de vida de la comunidad Arroyo Santiago, entre otros beneficios al ecosistema.
La miel es un producto de mucha demanda en la población, lo cual se evidenció con la venta de la totalidad de 
frascos (50) preparados para el primer día.
