Avanzamos hacia un Miches más resiliente y con una comunidad integrada.
La noche de ayer el equipo de #ElSeiboResiliente tuvo la oportunidad de realizar un taller de sensibilización sobre cambio climático a más de 60 pastores y pastoras de Iglesias del municipio de Miches, provincia El Seibo.
En este evento, coordinado por la Alcaldesa del municipio de Miches, Luz María Mercedes Alcadia de Miches, se contó con la participación del Senador de la provincia El Seibo Senador Santiago Zorrilla, la Gobernadora Provincial Irene Martínez Gobernación Provincial El Seibo-Oficial, Juan Simon Rijo Presidente de la Sala Capitular del municipio de Miches, Alexander Domínguez de la Federación Dominicana de Municipios y el Pastor Víctor Amador Presidente de la Confraternidad de Pastores.
Como parte de los resultados de este encuentro, será posible coordinar con las iglesias del municipio la sensibilización de sus integrantes en temas de Adaptación basada en Ecosistemas (AbE) y Reducción de Riesgos de Desastres (RRD).
